Purposes of processing

Submitted data is processed for the following purposes:

• Assessing waste proposals submitted for recovery.
• Recording and organising interest from potential buyers and specifiers.
• Contacting the organisation or person who submitted the information.
• Ensuring website security and preventing abusive submissions.

Data collected

We collect only the data submitted through the forms: organisation and contact person identification, email, phone, country and locality, information about the materials or project, messages and attached files. We also record the submission language, date and minimal technical information for abuse prevention.

Handling of attachments

Attached files (photographs, analyses, technical data sheets and relevant documentation) are stored in private storage with no public access, and used solely for the technical assessment of the proposal. Up to 6 files per submission are accepted, each up to 10 MB, in image and document formats.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the consent given in the form and on the legitimate interest in assessing commercial proposals and securing the website.

Retention period

Leads with no active commercial relationship are kept for a maximum of 24 months and are then deleted or anonymised. Where a commercial relationship exists, data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfil it and to comply with applicable legal obligations.
